What is billed

  • A live verification that was submitted. The person reached the end of the capture and sent it for checking, whatever the outcome: approved, declined or asked to resubmit.
  • A facial age estimation is billed at the document price when it falls back to a document, because it then runs the full document check.

  • Everything in a test workspace.
  • Links nobody submitted: created, abandoned before submitting, or expired.

Trial

A new account starts with 500 free live verifications. They do not expire. They are used before your card is charged, and there is no monthly minimum while any are left, so you can add a card early at no cost. We email your administrators when 100, 30 and 0 are left. Once they run out without a payment method, creating a live verification answers 402 PAYMENT_METHOD_REQUIRED; verifications created before that still complete. Add a payment method in the console under Billing. Test workspaces are always free.

Invoices

You are invoiced monthly for the previous month’s verifications. A month whose usage comes to less than the $30 minimum is invoiced at the minimum, unless it used free verifications or still had some left at its end; then there is no minimum. Taxes are added where they apply, based on your billing address. Invoices are in the console under Billing. Using the Shopify app?
