The person chooses the document type in the widget; with the API, send it as
document on the upload (passport, id, driver_license, residence_permit). See Uploading media.
What makes a document usable
- It is an original identity document, photographed live: not a photocopy, a scan, or a photo on a screen.
- It is not damaged: not torn, cut or folded over its text.
- It shows the holder’s photo, full name and date of birth, readable.
- It has not expired, unless the workspace allows expired documents. See Workspaces and keys.
